Welcome Parents! Please use the resources below to stay connected, informed and involved in your child's education.
Student school hours are 9:15am to 3:45pm. No early dismissal will be granted after 3:00pm as students are receiving final instruction and assignments for the day. If your child needs to leave early for doctor appointments or family obligations, they must be picked up prior to 3:00pm.

Washington Mutual brings the School Savings program to Rickards. Your child will have the opportunity to open an individual savings account FREE OF CHARGE! It helps build on math skills, financial management and establishes a banking relationship that can grow as they do. Students that open an account during the kick-off of the program receive a special "Thank You" prize.

On January 8, 2002, the United States Congress approved the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). Broward County Public Schools is committed to following all guidelines as established by NCLB and will provide information regarding classroom teacher qualifications in a timely manner upon request.
